FAQ

  • Grady’s Garden is a food and edutainment company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We offer pasta sauces and salsa products that have no artificial flavors or colors, and zero added sugars! However, what makes Grady's Garden special is our social mission: We allocate the profits from our products to our sister company, Grady's Classroom, where we aim to educate elementary-aged kids on the importance of healthy lifestyles and eating vegetables.

  • Grady’s Classroom is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate elementary-aged children on the importance of healthy lifestyles and eating vegetables. This allows us to partner with local elementary schools and children's organizations to offer our curriculum based on gardening and healthy eating!

  • The Grady’s Classroom curriculum is based on a series of modules. For more information, visit gradysclassroom.org. To inquire about implementing our curriculum in your school or classroom, please email brandy@gradysgarden.com with the subject line “Grady’s Classroom Implementation”.

  • If you are a parent/caregiver, submit a separate entry for each child. If you are a teacher/after school program facilitator, please submit one form with the number of students in your class.

  • Any K-12 student is eligible to enter with the help of their parent or guardian. The Plant A Seed sweepstakes is also open to homeschooled students. NOTE: Children under the age of 18 years old cannot register for this sweepstakes on their own - a parent or guardian MUST register the child.

  • If the selected grand prize winner is not comfortable with having a cameo in an upcoming animated episode of Grady’s Garden, you will have an option to opt out of the cameo if desired, and it will be gifted to the next winner in line. Opting out of the grand prize does not affect winning an outdoor garden starter kit for their school!

  • Five students will win an outdoor garden kit for their school (which includes 2 garden beds, adequate soil, and a variety of seedlings for each bed. Retail value of $500 each). One of the five winners will also receive a character cameo in an upcoming episode of the animated show Grady’s Garden.

  • If a winner’s school already has a garden, they may choose to use the garden kit to add to the already existing garden, or donate the garden kit to another school. Winner may decide!

  • On or about October 30, 2024, the Sponsor will select potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winners via telephone or email on or about November 11, 2024. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.

  • Please check out our care blog, where you will find posts about how to plant your seeds, caring for them, harvesting them, nutrition information and more!

  • Seeds are mailed to all entries while supplies last. Registration is still open after we have run out of seeds and does not impact chances of winning.

  • There are no substitutions. If allergic to any of the vegetable seeds provided, do not plant or consume.
